Our story

History of MAFF

The freight forwarding and logistics sector plays a critical role in supporting international trade, tourism, construction, retail and economic development in the Maldives. As the industry's representative organisation, MAFF was formed to give this vital sector a unified, professional voice.

From a founding group of established forwarders, the Association has grown into the recognised body for the industry — providing a trusted source of information on activities, membership programmes, industry developments and policy initiatives.
